Visa on Arrival, e-Visa, extensions, and costs explained for every nationality. We handle your e-visa paperwork so you can focus on packing.
Get Visa AssistanceMost nationalities get a 30-day Visa on Arrival (VOA) at Bali airport for ~$31 USD, extendable once. The e-VOA lets you apply online and skip the queue. Bali Malayali handles the full e-visa process for $40.
Indonesia offers multiple visa options for tourists visiting Bali, and the right one depends on your nationality and length of stay. The most common option is the Visa on Arrival (VOA), available to citizens of over 90 countries including India, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, and most of Europe. The VOA is issued at Ngurah Rai International Airport upon arrival and is valid for 30 days, extendable once for another 30 days.
Since 2023, Indonesia has also introduced an electronic Visa on Arrival (e-VOA) system through the official Molina portal (molina.imigrasi.go.id). This allows eligible travellers to apply online before departure, saving time at immigration. The e-VOA costs IDR 500,000 (approximately $31 USD) and can be paid by credit card. Upon approval, you receive a QR code to present at immigration, which significantly speeds up the entry process — especially during peak season when queues at the manual VOA counter can stretch to over an hour.
For travellers from countries not eligible for VOA — including many African and Middle Eastern nations — a B211A tourist visa must be obtained through an Indonesian embassy or consulate before travel. This visa is valid for 60 days and can be extended. Some nationalities, such as citizens of ASEAN countries (Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, etc.), enjoy visa-free entry for stays of up to 30 days, though this cannot be extended.
Bali Malayali offers a complete e-visa assistance service for just $40 (approximately INR 3,300). We handle the entire application process including form filling, document preparation, payment processing, and follow-up with immigration. This is especially useful for first-time visitors and Indian travellers who prefer assistance in Malayalam, Hindi, or English. Our team has processed thousands of e-visas and ensures your application is error-free.
