How to Get to Sumba

Direct flights from Bali to Tambolaka (West Sumba) or Waingapu (East Sumba) take approximately 1 hour on Wings Air or NAM Air. Flights are limited — book well in advance. We arrange complete Sumba packages including flights, 4WD transfers, and accommodation.

Best Time to Visit Sumba

Dry season (April–October) is best for travel, surf, and accessibility. Pasola festival occurs February–March. Wet season roads in East Sumba can become impassable. Year-round warm temperatures (28–33°C).
